IPSM is an international postgraduate medical education project developed by the Israeli organization IHEA.
In Kazakhstan, the project is implemented by specialists from Kazakhstan, Israel, USA and Russia together with medical universities of Kazakhstan.
IPSM can only be admitted after an open and fair competitive selection process. Successful applicants are admitted to an appropriate residency at one of the partner universities and have access to the IPSM project's additional training program in solid or hematological oncology, or other areas.
For those who qualify, IPSM guarantees free residency training with our partners - we will pay for your residency if you do not qualify for public funding.
Each block covers EBM skills, patient communication, and disease-specific knowledge: Pathology, Drug Therapy, Radiation Therapy, Surgery, and Diagnosis. Classes can take different forms: journal clubs, interactive lectures, case presentations, discussions, seminar sessions, etc.
The first semester focuses on evidence-based medicine (EBM), patient communication, basics of the pathology service, basic concepts of radiation therapy, nutrition support, palliative care, and oncology emergencies.

The remaining semesters include blocks devoted to specific nosologies, such as breast or colorectal cancer for solid oncologists or Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma for hematologists.

Residents study most nosologies because we are training surgical oncologists, medical oncologists and hematologists to be experts in their chosen field at the end of the program or at the start.
IPSM in Kazakhstan started in 2023 with training in solid and hematological oncology, in the new intake we plan to train medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, pathologists, or hematologists.
Yes, we accept applications from all CIS countries.
